Any corporate entity or individual, who is either in the tourism & travel business or supports it through tour groups, communication, security, products, transport etc., may become a corporate member of the Bantay Turista Foundation International (BTFI).

Corporate members will get a "Corporate Membership" status listing in the relevant pages of Bantay Turista On-Line and will get priority when we are asked for recommendations, provided they meet with the standards of BTFI. Corporate members will also be most likely to be mentioned in press releases and in TV & radio shows, interviews etc.

The current membership fee for local corporate membership is 1,500 pesos per year and US$62 for foreign group, although this may be waived or increased without any information at the discretion of the board of directors. Company logo and telephone numbers can be included in the listing on the BTFI web site for an additional 2,000 pesos or 40 dollars per year. Click here to apply for corporate membership.

Individual membership is available at only 500 pesos for local resident and US$20 for foreigner per year but this may be discounted to 300 pesos per year for those members who are actively working in the tourism industry such as taxi drivers, hotel and restaurant employees, etc. Bantay Turista I.D. cards will be issued to individual members are non transferable. Membership Requirements
1.      A member should at least invite one foreign tourist or Balikbayan to visit the Philippines
        and have it registered under your name.
2.      Willingness to provide assistance or voluntary work for the safety of the tourist.
3.      Any Filipino or Foreign nationals with good morale character at least 12 years of age.
4.      Members have to pay at least 500 pesos for local resident and 20 dollars for foreign nationals
         per year, but may be discounted to 300 pesos for those members actively participating in any
         tourist related work.
